Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you book a service or opt into SMS messaging:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Service address
• Yard size, number of dogs, and pet information
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• SMS consent status and consent date

We do not collect biometric information as defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (740 ILCS 14/).

How We Use Your Data

Your information is used exclusively to provide and support your pet waste removal service:

• Schedule and manage your service appointments
• Send booking confirmations and service reminders
• Communicate via SMS if you have opted in
• Process payments and send invoices

Cookies and Session Storage

If you log in to the Superior Pet customer portal, we set a session cookie on your browser to keep you logged in. This cookie:

• Contains only an authentication token (no personal data)
• Expires after 30 days or when you log out
• Is required for portal access and cannot be declined while using the portal
• Is not used for advertising or tracking

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or any purpose other than portal authentication.

SMS / Text Messaging

By checking the SMS consent box during booking, you agree to receive text messages from Superior Pet Waste Removal LLC at the phone number provided, including booking confirmations, service reminders, on-the-way notifications, and invoice notices.

Data Sharing

We share data with the following service providers to operate our platform: Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS messaging), Anthropic (AI chat assistant), Google Gemini (AI assistant), OpenAI/ChatGPT (AI assistant), xAI/Grok (AI assistant), and Meta (Facebook Messenger).

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Security

We protect your personal data with secure storage measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. Access to your information is limited to authorized staff only.

Data Retention

• Customer account data (name, address, contact): Active service + 90 days after account closure
• Payment records and invoices: 7 years (tax and accounting requirements)
• SMS consent records (consent date, opt-out date): 5 years (TCPA audit trail)
• SMS message logs: 90 days rolling, then deleted
• Service visit history: 3 years, then anonymized

You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us. We may retain data longer if required by law, court order, or to resolve an active dispute. Payment and invoice records are retained for legal and tax compliance regardless of deletion requests.
