By booking a service with Superior Pet Waste Removal LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern all pet waste removal, deodorizing, and related services provided at your property.
Services are available in our designated service areas in the Lake & McHenry County, IL area. We reserve the right to decline service to any location outside our service zone.
Service pricing is based on yard size, number of dogs, and service frequency at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active customers.
Invoices are issued electronically after each completed service visit. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a service appointment without charge.
Customers with recurring service plans may place their service on hold ("Vacation Hold") to pause scheduled visits during a specified period.
If you do not notify us in advance and our technician arrives at your scheduled service time, you will be charged for that visit at your normal service rate, regardless of whether waste removal was performed. The technician's time and travel are incurred at the time of dispatch.
Weather-related service skips (see Weather Policy) are not Vacation Holds and require no customer action.
By completing a service booking, you grant Superior Pet Waste Removal LLC and its technicians permission to enter the designated service area of your property on each scheduled service date. This permission is limited to the service area specified at booking and does not extend to any enclosed structure.
You are responsible for:
Gate Access and Latching: The technician will close and latch your gate upon leaving. We are not responsible for pets that escape through gates with mechanical defects, damage, or non-standard latching mechanisms, or for injury to pets that were not properly secured prior to the technician's arrival.
Pet Safety — Assumption of Risk: If an unrestrained animal is present upon the technician's arrival, the technician may, at their discretion, wait briefly for the animal to be secured or skip the visit. If the visit is skipped due to an unrestrained animal, you will be notified and the visit rescheduled. If less than 24 hours' notice was available, the standard cancellation policy applies. You assume all risk associated with your pet's behavior while on your property.
Property Damage: Notify us within 48 hours of a visit if you believe our technician caused direct damage to your property. We will investigate and, if damage is verified and attributable to our service, we will work with you to resolve it. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions independent of our service.
We service in most weather conditions. In the event of severe weather, unsafe road conditions, or extreme cold, we may reschedule your visit and will notify you as soon as possible.
Rescheduled visits due to weather will be completed within 3 business days at no additional charge. No credits or refunds are issued for weather delays.
We stand behind the quality of our service. If you are not satisfied with a completed visit, contact us within 24 hours and we will return to address any missed areas at no charge.
This guarantee applies to accessible waste only. We cannot guarantee removal of waste buried under debris, in standing water, or in areas we were unable to safely access.
Superior Pet Waste Removal LLC is not liable for: (a) pre-existing property damage; (b) damage caused by conditions outside our control, including unsecured gates, aggressive pets, or inaccurate booking information; (c) indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of services rendered shall not exceed the amount paid for the single service visit to which the claim relates. We carry general liability insurance. If you believe our technician caused direct property damage during a service visit, notify us within 48 hours.
The service is provided without warranty beyond the Satisfaction Guarantee stated above. To the maximum extent permitted by Illinois law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that all waste will be detectable or accessible under all conditions.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers at least 14 days in advance via SMS (if opted in) or email. Your continued use of our service after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms. The current version is always available at superiorpetwaste.com/terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will first be pursued through good-faith written notice. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lake County or McHenry County, Illinois.
